Questions

Recording, storage and availability.

What is PACKIT?

PACKIT records meetings and voice notes, then turns them into transcripts and summaries. You can search your saved notes, review decisions and tasks, or ask about a recording.

How is PACKIT different from a voice recorder?

PACKIT saves a transcript and summary alongside your recording. Speaker labels and timestamps help you find a particular part, and Ask lets you look up details without reading the whole transcript.

Can I record with my phone locked?

Yes. Start a recording, then lock your phone or switch apps. You can check it on your Lock Screen and, on supported devices, in the Dynamic Island.

What happens to my recordings?

You choose whether to keep the audio or delete it after processing. PACKIT uses cloud processing to make the transcript and summary. You can delete a memory or your account in the app.

Can I ask questions about my memories?

Yes. Open a recording and select Ask. Try a question like “What did we decide?” or “Who is sending the proposal?” You can also search your library to find a recording.

When can I download PACKIT?

We’re still preparing PACKIT for release. It will need iOS 18 or later. We’ll add the App Store link here when it’s available.
